Continuing my Osheaga countdown (4 days to go!), here’s a brilliant video from The National Parcs, for the song Walk the Walk off the album Timbervision, on which they create funky hip-hop beats by “sampling” the sounds of the wilderness instead of old records. Sounds like a cheap gimmick, but these cats make it work wonders. Check it out.
